Tardiff & Saldo is a San Luis Obispo-based legal firm comprised of young, ambitious California natives who are putting a new edge on the practice of law on the Central Coast.
The Challenge
Tardiff & Saldo is a new law office in San Luis Obispo with deep roots on the Central Coast and in California law. So when SLO natives Tyler Saldo and Dustin Tardiff decided to open their own practice, they needed a brand that represented who they are and how they work: young, ambitious, current, tech-savvy, active in the community and believers in local partnerships. Rather than the stodgy clichés of scales or columns, the new brand had to be strong and professional and abstract enough to be intriguing, yet at the same time clean, modern, and simple.
The Solution
The new Tardiff & Saldo brand is clean, modern, minimal, and definitely unique. At its locus is what we have called an abstract ampersand that does not fail to grab attention. It is comprised of a heavily-stylized ampersand logo mark comprised of a T, S, and an ampersand symbol. Clearly a different kind of brand for a different kind of law firm.
