The Challenge
Since 1988, Susan Polk Insurance has been a staple in San Luis Obispo County—not only as the premier health insurance service provider on the Central Coast, but as an integral part of the community. In the 30+ years since Susan first ‘hung out a shingle’ in SLO, she’s helped tens of thousands of Californians get the most out of their insurance dollars. Clearly, Susan Polk had the reputation and the visibility, but what they did not have was a coherent brand identity system that clearly communicated their commitment to compassionate, client-first service.
The Solution
As is often the case when a high-profile business or organization rebrands, the chief priority for the new Susan Polk brand was to maintain the significant visibility capital they had tied up in the Susan Polk name. Rather than risk losing leads by scrapping what some might consider a hopelessly-outdated aesthetic for something completely new, the proper approach was to bring the Susan Polk identity into the 21st century with freshness, accuracy, and excellence.
